Waitsfield Bylaw Modernization Project
"Bylaw Modernization" refers to updates to a community's land use code or zoning ordinances. This process is intended to update the land use code to help the Town meet emerging needs and challenges. The Waitsfield Planning Commission is currently working on this project with consultants from SE Group https://segroup.com/.

Our goal is to provide for more areas for "infill development" for housing and new businesses.

Putting Vibrancy into our Villages
Another goal is to identify residents' needs for services, walkability and the need for a pleasant ambience in our downtown Villages. For this we need your help. Bring your ideas and questions to the community meeting on March 29. Together we can make our downtown a more pleasant experience for shopping, dining and recreation.

Please stop in at our Vibrant Villages Community Meeting on March 29 from 5-7pm at the Waitsfield Meeting House. Info on our project will be displayed and explained. Reps from the Waitsfield Planning Commission and SE Group will be present to answer questions and discuss ideas.
