The Bethel Area Rotary Club serves the communities of Barnard, Bethel, Pittsfield, Royalton, Rochester, Stockbridge, and Tunbridge. Come join us to see what Rotary is about and how we work to make the world a better place. Our next meeting will be on Monday 3/20 @ 6pm at the Barnard Academy in Barnard VT. We will be having a presentation about the latest Rotary Mission Amigos De Honduras in February and will being honoring our 2022 Rotary Community Hero (Cathy Day).
Rotary's motto is "Service Above Self" and our members are inspired by the many people who volunteer for so many essential but unflashy tasks that make our community supportive and caring places to live. This is what a Rotary Community Hero is.
Amigos De Honduras concentrates its efforts in Honduras in three areas: 1) Literacy; 2) Medical Care; and 3) Pure Water. These three things, that we all take for granted, are the keys to helping the people of Honduras. Working together, the Rotarians of Honduras and our District have found numerous ways "To Make A Difference". Won't you join us at our meeting to hear about this?
