Sunday Afternoon Pipe Organ Concert

Majestic, serene, and inspiring. Organ music can touch your heart and soothe your soul in beautiful and unexpected ways. Come experience the joyful sounds of the historic 1866 pipe organ Sunday, March 19, starting at 3 p.m., at the West Rutland United Church.
The musical program will be led by Alastair Stout, organist, and Olivia Boughton, soprano. Alistair Stout is music director at Grace Congregational Church in Rutland. He hails from the Shetland Islands, in Scotland. Olivia Boughton is the leader of song at St. Bridget, St. Stanislaus Kostka, and St. Peter Catholic churches. She is a graduate of Mt. St. Joseph Academy and Skidmore College.
Time will be included for a few favorite hymns chosen by attendees. Enjoy refreshments after the concert. The event kicks off the 250th anniversary celebration for the WRUC, a friendly neighborhood community church. The event is free and open to all. Donations to support the musicians and the church's mission are gratefully accepted.
Limited parking for seniors is available at the church, located at 60 Chapel Street. Abundant parking for is available a few steps away at the West Rutland School. Come enjoy this wonderful musical event!
