The Castleton Community Center will host two programs that can help older adults age well. The first presentation from 2:00-3:00 features EB Sheldon-Morris, a Physician Assistant with over 10 years of experience working in primary care. She will offer tips for getting the most out of your health care visits, ways to communicate effectively, topics to make sure are addressed during the visit and tips for aging well. The second program, immediately following the first discussion, is sponsored by the Southwestern Vermont Council on Aging. It will feature a Nutrition Education presentation about portion control and MyPlate, a U.S. Department of Agriculture program that helps you build healthy eating habits. Both programs are open to all and there is no charge. For additional information call 802-468-3093
