Creating Habitat for Butterflies in Vermont's Gardens

Past event
Mar 23, 2023, 7 to 8:30 PM

Presenter, Dr. Ray Moranz will introduce some of the more frequently seen butterflies in Vermont and will discuss their habitat needs. He will also present information on how to create a butterfly garden, with a focus on selection of plant species native to Vermont, but also how to create larger scale pollinator meadows (that of course feed butterflies as well as bees). Finally, he will discuss long-term maintenance of butterfly habitat. He promises that his presentation will feature numerous high-quality photos of gorgeous butterflies!
