Starting March 24th and for the next 5 Fridays, please join us at the St. J Welcome Ctr for East Coast Swing Lessons. This is an easy and fun dance to learn. Because it is a series, we will be starting out with basic footwork and then adding simple and eventually more complicated moves. It is STRONGLY recommended that unless you have experience already, you should attend the series in order from the beginning. Class will be from 6-7PM and then we will have at least 1/2 hr of time for you to practice. (also, strongly recommended to develop some muscle memory and to troubleshoot any problems). You should wear smooth soled footwear to allow yourself to turn freely on the floor. Come check us out! Please note, the class and practice time has a cost of $5 per person per class. We did this last spring as well with a great turnout and had lots of fun! East Coast swing works well with lots of music from the 1930's up to the rock and roll era as well as present day.
