The MAUSD Administration and School Board would like to thank voters for their support of the budget and related articles for the 2023-2024 school year. We are very grateful to our community for their dedication to advancing our mission to provide all our students with the learning and support they need to succeed in school and life.

The School Board will be holding its first meeting of the new term on Tuesday, March 14 at 6:00 pm. Two representatives from the Vermont School Board Association, Phil Gore and Jeanne Collins, will be providing helpful training to the Board on good governance, Board roles and responsibilities, and committee function within the framework of Policy Governance, which is our governance model. We are eager to start this new term with the tools we need to be successful and productive in helping to move the District forward over the next year.

We welcome community members to listen in to the meeting onTuesday so you can learn more about the role of the School Board, what good governance looks like, and opportunities for community involvement. We are also seeking school board members to fill vacated seats for Bristol, Monkton and New Haven, so we especially encourage anyone who is interested in serving to attend and learn more about our work.
