Alburgh Reindeer 5K Run
The Holiday Light Committee will be sponsoring the first annual ALBURGH REINDEER RUN on September 7th. The run will begin at 10:00am at 293 West Shore Road, continue to the Isle LaMotte Bridge and then return to 293 West Shore Road. West Shore Road, from Middle Road to the Isle LaMotte Bridge will be closed from 9:45am – 12:00pm. Of course emergency vehicles and people going to their homes/camps will definitely be allowed thru. The first 50 people to turn in their Registration Form will receive participation gifts and there will be prizes awarded for different age groups. Entry fees are: $20/person age 16 and up - $10/person age 15 and under. To sign up, please download the Registration Form from the Town Website at www.alburghvt.org, email the Town Office and request a form at townofalburgh@fairpoint.net, stop in at the Town Office and pick up a hard copy or you can even register anytime after 8:00am the morning of the Run at 293 West Shore Road. All completed Registration Forms can be turned into the Town Office on or before September 6th or can be turned in the morning of the Run. Walkers are welcome also.
