Red Cross Adult Disaster and Emergency Preparedness Training. This training will have a focus on home fire safety for Burlington's immigrant and refugee communities. Interpreter services available if requested in advance. Additionally, we have added a speaker from the Burlington Fire Department to add local perspective on fire safety.
Learn how your family can prevent home fires, escape from a home fire in 2 minutes, and recover after a home fire. Every year thousands of people lose their homes and in some cases their lives due preventable accidents. This training is a positive step to rectify this issue in our community by completing your fire safety plan and becoming "Red Cross Ready".
The event is FREE, children are welcome.
