"Ordinary Magic: The Art of Being Human"
The discovery of magic can happen only when we transcend our embarrassment about being alive, when we have the bravery to proclaim the goodness and dignity of human life.
From Shambhala, The Sacred Path of the Warrior: "With the state of the world in such turmoil, it is hard to find our way to inner harmony and balance. Through meditation we can learn to synchronize our mind, body and spirit."
This weekend workshop includes meditation instruction, talks on the Shambhala principles of dignity, kindness and joy, and discussion groups to share our experiences. We start with cultivating a genuine connection with our own wholesomeness, resourcefulness and inspiration.
Program cost $140. Please register in advance. A generosity policy applies for those for whom the full price would prevent attendance. Please contact Myra Woodruff in advance at myrawoodruff@gmail.com to arrange.
Myra Woodruff is a long time meditation practitioner who has been teaching in the Shambhala Buddhist tradition for 27 years. She works as a psychotherapist in Burlington and goes for long walks with her dog, Rin.
