The Argyle Fire Department's Auxiliary Committee will be meeting at the fire house on Thursday, 16 March at 4 pm to welcome new prospective members and to begin planning for this year's events to support our firefighters and our local community. Some events coming up quickly are the yearly Fire Department Banquet (Sat, May 13th), our Spring chicken BBQ (date TBD), the 4th of July Parade and BBQ, and the County Fair. Other topics include; electing committee officers for the year, discussing the new New York State proposed tax breaks for active volunteer fire department personnel, discussing new fundraising opportunities, and seeking additional auxiliary members for our incident scene support team.

If you are interested in joining an active civic volunteer organization which provides significant contributions to the Fire Department and to the local Argyle community please consider attending our meeting on the 16th or emailing the author.
