Hanaford Fife & Drum Corps of VT has selected Jay as their "little town of the year" and will be marching in our Summer Fest parade. We are so excited and hope you will join us in downtown Jay at 10:30 am to cheer them on. They will also do a presentation at noon intersection of Rte 242 & Cross Rd. We are also in need of floats, trucks, tractors, animals, marchers, walkers to be in the parade.

NEW Parade Route.

Line up on Green Mountain Drive, off Rte 242, Foot Hills at Jay, 10 am Parade route will start on Green Mountain Drive Fire Trucks can turn around at Tuckaway cul de sac and back out Green Mtn Drive Others will be directed to gather on side road on right to merge with trucks at appropriate time Leave Green Mountain Drive turn right onto Rte 242, turn left on to Cross Rd, then right on to Revoir Flats and end at Jay Volunteer Fire Dept. 6/10 of a mile in total People walking may end parade at intersection of Cross Rd & Revoir flats or continue to JVFD Contact Sally 988.4786 Peggy 343.5687 or enter on line at www.jayvt.com.
