Join the New Haven Conservation Commission and Community Library for an evening of discussion on Suzanne Simard's Finding the Mother Tree. This event will be held virtually.

Finding the Mother Tree is a book for everyone. It is about Simard's life in the logging community in British Columbia, about the challenges she faced in the male dominated profession of forestry, and about how she did the painstaking research that led to the discovery of the connections between trees and the importance of Mother Trees.

"There is no moment too small in the world. Nothing should be lost. Everything has a purpose, and everything is in need of care. This is my creed. Let us embrace it. We can watch it rise. Just like that, at any time—all the time—wealth and grace will soar." ~Suzanne Simard

To register, for the program, please email the library at librarian@nhcl.org or call us at (802) 453-4015.
