Join us at The Sharon Academy High School, next Thursday March 9th at 6:30 -8:30pm for a conversation on Teen/Tween Anxiety with psychotherapist and anxiety expert Lynn Lyons.
Does your child feel like they can step out into the world and manage what life throws at them? Worry and anxiety are normal and expected parts of learning and growing, but when teens and 'tweens face cognitive, social, or emotional challenges, anxiety can step in and take over. Lyons offers guidance for parents and caregivers that focuses on skill-building, with the goal of improving emotional management, flexibility, connection, and living productively in a social media world.
This event is free and open to all adults and children 13+. The evening is made possible in collaboration with the White River Supervisory Union, The Sharon Academy, the Community Schools Grant and the Vermont Children's Trust Foundation.
