On Wednesday, March 15th, at 5:30 pm, at the Morrisville (VT) Centennial Library, come and see Peoples Academy science teacher Rita Ciambra and PA junior Max Kuhnle talk about their NASA astronomy research experience. Rita and Max participated in a year-long project at CalTech to search for "young stellar objects" (stars in the process of forming). The culmination of this project was presenting their research poster in Seattle, WA, at the 241st American Astronomical Society Conference (AAS). Their presentation at the library will discuss their research experience and results, as well as their experience at the AAS.

Rita was accepted to participate in the year-long NASA/IPAC Teacher Archive Research Program (NITARP), and was the first participant from Vermont.
