For those who like to plan ahead ---
In celebration of Armed Forces Day and to honor our military, the Essex Community Historical Society will open the Harriet Farnsworth Powell Historical Museum on Saturday, May 20, 10 am to 3 pm. The Museum is located at the corner of Routes 128 and 15 next to the Essex Library.

All are invited to attend with a special invitation to all military, past and present. Military attendees will be asked, if they are willing, to share their stories which we are planning to include in our archives.

Stop by and hear these stories and see exhibits on display for the day highlighting Essex men and women who have served our country from the Revolutionary War to current times.
