The Heineberg Community Senior Center will be hosting free recycling and composting workshop, Thursday, March 16th, 2:00-3:00 pm.
Kat Moody from Chittenden Solid Waste District will help us learn about the rules of recycling! You will gain insight into what belongs in your blue bin and what actually makes an item recyclable. The workshop will also address the disposal of items that are frequent points of confusion like bottle caps, pizza boxes, compostable food ware items, black plastic, and more. By the end of the workshop, you will walk away with more knowledge and understanding of recycling, composting, and sustainability!
The Heineberg Community Senior Center is located at 14 Heineberg Road, in Burlington's New North End.
