Hello, all;
Now's the time to gently remind everyone not to put their ballots in the mail going forward. While it is very possible that a ballot posted over the weekend or even Monday could arrive at Town Hall by or on Tuesday, March 7th, I hate to take that chance.
There is a slot in the front door of the Town Clerk's Office through which you can deposit your ballot. OR bring your ballots (in their signed, sealed envelopes, of course) on Monday and Tuesday. As long as your ballot's received by 7 PM Tuesday, it will count.
Also, I'm sad to report that we've received 3 sets of ballots in their outer return envelopes that we cannot count. They weren't in their signature envelopes, nor were their signature envelopes included. They didn't have return addresses so we have no idea to whom these three sets of ballots belong.
If you feel you might be one of these voters, please contact the office Monday or stop by Tuesday and see if your name's been checked off the checklist.
Finally, a reminder that in-person voting will take place in Town Hall, 5 Church Street, from 7 AM - 7 PM, Tuesday, March 7th. (i.e. THIS Tuesday). Please bring the ballots you were sent as we have a limited supply here.
If you have any questions, please contact us at clerk@middlesexvermont.org or 802-223-5915.
See you soon!
