Past event
Mar 23, 2023, 6 to 7 PM

The Ferrisburgh Conservation Commission would like to invite you to a presentation on bats in Vermont. Come learn about Vermont's flying mammals from state wildlife biologist Alyssa Bennett from the Vermont Fish and Wildlife Department. As these animals prepare to leave their underground hibernation sites and fly north from warmer climates, join us for an update on winter and summer population trends, the latest disease and treatment research to combat White-nose Syndrome, and what you can do in your own backyard to help Vermont's nine bat species.

This free program will be held in person on March 23rd from 6 to 7 PM at the Ferrisburgh Town Offices and Community Center located at 3279 Route 7, Ferrisburgh.

If you have questions please contact Amy Dohner, Ferrisburgh Conservation Commission Member, at amy.s.dohner@gmail.com or 802-434-7245.
