With a few friends, I'll be hosting a SEED and houseplant SWAP at the next Plainfield Farmers' Market at the Plainfield Opera House & Town Hall on Rt 2 in Plainfield

Sunday, March 5th, from 11-2

I'll bring a variety of seeds from Fedco, High Mowing, Johnny's, and a few smaller organic seed companies--plus various seeds collected from past years' gardens.

LOTS of mixed greens seeds from the High Mowing donated collection.

And some of almost everything else you might want.

We'll bring paper, writing implements, and tape to make and label small seed envelopes.

Do you save your own seed or have some organic seeds left over from last year that you want to share? Are you just starting out gardening and don't want to invest in new seed? Do you just want some FREE GARDEN SEEDS?

You bring yourself and--if you have some--your favorite seed varieties. (With a clear description of seed type and year is important.)

We can swap, or you can just take what you need: Veggies, companion flowers, herbs, medicinals, even a few perennials .... These seeds need new homes--they want t grow!

We'll be surrounded by the Plainfield Winter Farmers' Market vendors with good foods, crafts, baked goods, meats, and more!
