A rated PG-13 movie will be held at the Springfield Town Library, in collaboration with the Springfield Family Center.
An encounter with Nathaniel Ayers (Jamie Foxx)-a homeless man playing a two-stringed violin on the streets of Los Angeles-leads journalist Steve Lopez (Robert Downey, Jr.) to write about the musician, a former Julliard prodigy suffering from schizophrenia. But when Lopez reaches out to help the combative Ayers, neither man is prepared for what follows. Based on a true story by L.A. Times columnist Lopez.
This event is free and open to the public if you have any questions contact the Library at (802)885-3108.
