Norwich University is pleased to announce our Global Writers Series for the spring 2023.

Our second guest will be horror writer John Langan on Monday, April 3, at 4pm in Kreitzberg Library's Multipurpose Room. He is the author of two novels and five short fiction collections and a co-founder of the Shirley Jackson Awards. His most recent book is the 2021 collection Corpsemouth and Other Autobiographies. His 2016 novel The Fisherman won the Bram Stoker and This Is Horror Awards; the New York Times praised the novel's "elegant style," while author Victor La Valle declared Langan "one of the finest practitioners of the moody tale working today." He lives in New York's Mid-Hudson valley with his family.

Our first guest will be poet Donika Kelly on Thursday, March 16th, at 5pm in the Kreitzberg Library's Multipurpose Room. See previous post for details.

The Global Writers Series is made possible by support from Norwich's College of Liberal Arts and Department of Global Humanities.

Each reading will be followed by a discussion with the authors. Both events are free and open to the public. Community members may park on campus after 5pm, except in designated student lots.
