What Is Memory?
The Rev. Jane Dwinell, Guest Minister
The Rev. Jane Dwinell will be the guest speaker at this Sunday's service at the Universalist Unitarian Congregation of St. Johnsbury. You may join via Zoom by requesting a link through the congregation's website: stjuuc.org
When Jane's husband, Sky, was diagnosed with dementia in 2016, he set out to learn everything he could about the disease. As the years and his disease progressed, they often talked about memory, what it is, and what might be important about it. Jane will share some of their thoughts about this important subject given that six million Americans — and their loved ones — are currently living with dementia.
The Rev. Jane Dwinell is a retired UU minister who lives on Lake Champlain with her garden and her two cats, Tubby and Pogo. She and her late husband, Sky Yardley, are the co-authors of Alzheimer's Canyon: One Couple's Reflections on Living with Dementia.
