Hello neighbors,

My name is Lina Cloffe Hanson and I'm new to Front Porch Forum here in MTS and maybe newish to Middletown Springs. We moved from Proctor to MTS a year and a half ago and love it here. I'd like to introduce myself professionally and mainly in the capacity of a Yoga teacher and wellness coach. I have practiced Yoga most of my life and I have been teaching yoga professionally and continuously for at least 22 years. I moved from Sweden to New York City in 1997 to continue to pursue my acting career. I both studied and then performed as an actress/singer/dancer in NYC until 2008 and during that time I worked as a yoga teacher and fitness trainer all around the city. When our first child was born, we decided to relocate to Vermont to live closer to nature and our family up here. My work as a Yoga teacher (my, "day job") was thankfully easy to transition to here. I am currently offering classes in Rutland, VT where I have a yoga studio on Woodstock Avenue. Many classes are also offered simultaneously via Zoom. I offers Yoga, Chair Yoga, Pranayama and Meditation classes, workshops, master classes and private sessions and I also do wellness coaching that also includes high quality micro nutrients. But I also will just now start offering an evening class over in Poultney, which prompted me to let you know of my services here on Front Porch Forum.

So, an in person Yoga class in Poultney

I will start teaching this class from Monday 2/27 and at least through March. You don't have to sign up for this class. It's drop in at a suggested donation of $10-15. There is plenty of space as it is in a wonderfully large ball room.

Mondays @ 5:30 – 6:30

This floor class welcomes yogis with all levels of experience as well as beginners. As a mixed levels class, it will be gentle for those who like that and offer suggestions for those who want a little extra challenge as well. Please bring your own Yoga mat and blanket and if you are using any other props like blocks or yoga tie, bring that with you too.
