ABOUT STOWE SOUND IMMERSION:

My wife Kate and I have formed a band, which we've called "Stowe Sound Immersion". It's based on the idea of "sound bathing" but it's really so much more.

As a trap set/rock and roll drummer most of my life it is a pleasure to step into this new set of shoes. Kate plays all the crystal bowls, ocean drum, love tuner, Native American rattles, and chimes. I play a variety of hand percussion instruments, such as the steel tongue drum (also known as a "hand pan") except this is hollow, tunable drum and has a pickup for a PA. I also play Djembe, Udu Drum, Native American Frame Drum, 528hz Crystal Bowl, and a few other percussion instruments.

For an hour, you are invited to a most delicious proposition. To lay quietly on a comfy mat with a pillow, eye mask and blanket and allow yourself the luxury of being swept away by your own meditations and peaceful thoughts and feeling while being immersed in a careful construct of healing sound and rhythm.

We've done two performances already. Both were sold out, and the feedback from these folks indicates we're on the right path to our intention, which is to spread world peace 7 people at a time.
