This past fall, The Nature Conservancy in Vermont signed an agreement with the US Fish and Wildlife Service to transfer the ownership of 3,500-acre Glebe Mountain which spans the communities of Windham and Londonderry, to the Silvio O. Conte National Fish and Wildlife Refuge (USFWS). We anticipate that the final transfer will happen this fall. In the meantime, Representatives from The Nature Conservancy and the US Fish and Wildlife Service will host a webinar on March 1st at 6:30pm to provide a brief overview of this special place and answer any questions related to the change in ownership. Both the Nature Conservancy and USFWS are committed to Glebe Mountain's continued biodiversity protection and maintaining public access. The webinar is open to the public but registration is required.
