Come join Ashtanga Yoga Primary Series led by Selina Ferrandino at the Wallingford Block. The class is 90 minutes long and meets every Tuesday from 5:30 to 7 pm. Cost is $20 and you can book the class at https://www.wallingfordblock.com/book-a-class. Ashta means "eight" and anga means "limb", is the eight limb path of yoga as outlined in the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali. This is a led practice designed to incorporate the connection of breath to movement following a specific set of postures, including sun salutations, standing postures, seated postures, forward folds, twists, and inversions. All levels are welcome, this is a vigorous practice, however each participant chooses their own degree of vigor and modifications are available for every posture. Through the practice of Ashtanga you will effectively build strength and endurance in the body as well as the mind. Hope to see you there!
