Hello everyone
This Wednesday the 22nd, 6:15-7:30 at the Craftsbury Public Library there will be a teach-in event to raise awareness about the Stop Cop City movement in Atlanta. Cop city is a proposed police training facility intended to train police in urban warfare, set to destroy 381 acres of the Weelaunee Forest.
This movement recently came into the public eye after an environmental protester was killed during a police raid in the forest.
We will be learning about why cop city should not be built, how to help defend the forest, and how to support frontline protestors. After a presentation and discussion there will be an opportunity to write letters of solidarity to arrested forest defenders
If you can't make it and would like to know more, visit https://stopcop.city/
Thanks
