Please join a group of neighbors this Sunday night (2/19), to discuss the real and ongoing problem of systemic racism in our world today: how we can understand it, and what we can do to change it.
For several years now, the Mad River Valley Anti-Racism Initiative (MRVARI) has provided a setting in which all people can find support and guidance in exploring the vital, complex issue of racial justice. We come together to learn, grow, wonder, and respectfully engage with one another.
We'll meet at the Village Meeting House (ground floor of the Waitsfield church), from 6:30 - 8:00 pm. Exceptionally, we will be meeting in the office at the top of the stairs (rear entrance of church), unless the ground floor space is available. Note also that our meetings usually take place on the FOURTH Sunday of the month (we tweaked it this month due to school vacation).
You don't need to have attended before in order to join our group. In fact, newcomers are often the ones who bring in the freshest, richest perspectives and questions. Please consider trying it out!
Respectfully,
Wrenn Compere, facilitator
