The Brass Lantern Inn brings you 'Jazz at the Lantern' ~ a monthly celebration of the Art of Jazz.
Hors d'oeuvres, light plates & bar, and a cozy fire kicks off March's Jazz at the Lantern with none other than one of the original members of the Jazz Messengers ~ Bill Pierce!

Saxophonist Bill Pierce is a legendary figure in the world of jazz, having been a member of both the Jazz Messengers led by Art Blakey, and a member of the famous Tony Williams Quintet of the late 80's and early 90's. Bill has toured internationally and is on numerous recordings as sideman and leader, also recording with Kevin Eubanks and Geoff Keezer. Bill is a retired head of the woodwind department at Berklee College of Music in Boston, and maintains a busy touring schedule.

Mr. Pierce will be accompanied by Bruce Sklar, Jeremy Hill and Gabe Jarrett.
