Past event
Feb 18, 2023, 4 to 5 PM

Come learn about wild horses and support Shelburne-native Katherine Boucher's documentary!

Come see clips from the documentary, an interview with Katherine about her epic 26-day horse packing journey with two other women across Wyoming, and learn about the wild horses crisis. This is a fundraiser event to help raise money for post-production expenses of Katherine's documentary Women in the Wilderness: The Great Mustang Divide.

When: Saturday, February 18th at 4:00 PM
Where: Windswept Farm, 581 Old Stage Rd, Williston

Entry is FREE (no tickets required) with a suggested contribution of $50 per family. This is a kid-friendly event! If you can't contribute monetarily, there are lots of other ways to support the project and we'd love for you to come and learn about wild horses. We will be inside a barn so dress warm. Hope to see you there!

A bit about the project: Katherine and two other women planned and executed a monthlong horse packing trip across Wyoming with 9 mustangs in October 2021. Along the way, we interviewed various stakeholders in the wild horse crisis to educate ourselves and our audience about wild horses. An incredibly talented film crew followed our journey and captured over 800 hours of stunning footage that we now need to edit into our documentary.
