Fight for Kids Foundation 501(c)(3) is excited to announce the grand opening of the Winooski Youth Center on Saturday, February 18th. The center, located at 88 Mallets Bay Ave, will provide a safe and welcoming space for youth in the Winooski area to engage in recreational and educational activities.
The Winooski Youth Center is a project of Fight for Kids Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of children and youth in underserved communities. The center will offer a variety of programming, including after-school activities, sports and fitness programs, and homework assistance.
The grand opening celebration will take place from 12pm to 3pm and will feature a ribbon-cutting ceremony, tours of the facility, and activities for kids of all ages. Local community leaders, volunteers, and supporters of the Fight for Kids Foundation will be in attendance to celebrate this important milestone.
"I am thrilled to finally open the doors of the Winooski Youth Center and provide a safe and positive environment for youth in our community," King Mcmillan, Founder of Fight for Kids Foundation. "We believe that every child deserves the opportunity to thrive, and we look forward to serving the Winooski community for many years to come." The Winooski Youth Center is the result of months of planning and fundraising by the Fight for Kids Foundation, and the organization is grateful for the support of the community in making this vision a reality.
