The Rutland Area Shepherds (RAS) is a group of local shepherds and farmers who are interested in working with sheep. RAS supports, educates, and advocates for its members and promotes the value and sustainability of sheep, lamb and wool. Member farms are located around the Rutland area. RAS welcomes new members who are interested in sheep related agriculture.
The group is a non-profit organization. We meet monthly at members farms where we have occasional guest speakers, discuss and help each other with sheep related issues and plan for future events. Our next meeting will be on Thursday, Feb 23 at 7:00pm at the Spruit's 620 N Main St, Wallingford. We welcome you to join us.
