At a time when some US teachers are being threatened with prosecution if they don't hide the books they bought for their pupils, it's useful to ask what we can learn from crackdowns on ideas in the past. "Trumbo: Red White & Blacklisted" stars Donny Osman as Dalton Trumbo, one of the original blacklisted Hollywood Ten denied their livelihoods as writers for decades. The play is being performed in Waterbury Center this weekend and White River Junction on March 4 and 5. Osman will join us to talk about Trumbo, the play, and what we can learn from Trumbo's life.
