From the Parlor to the Polling Place with Linda Radke
As Town Meeting Day approaches, it's the perfect time to celebrate the efforts of Vermont's (and Montpelier's) suffragists in securing a woman's right to vote. Wearing period garb and accompanied by pianist David Gibson, Linda Radke will engage us with stories and songs of the movement and its alignment with other social justice issues.
Then, we will indulge in some tasty tea morsels and raise our cups in gratitude to the persistence of our ancestors and their historic achievement.
