Our topic this month is: Paralyzed by Public Speaking? Time to get your Power back...
Join us for a fun and engaging workshop on public-speaking. Learn some of the basic do's and don'ts of speaking to groups (and individuals), and strategies for beating back the butterflies. We'll start with introductions, listen as Peter Piper picks a peck of pickled peppers - and end with a toast. And what would a gathering of women be without some drama... - Yep, that will happen too!
About our presenter:
Mary Catherine Jones has been a voice talent for over 15 years, specializing in e-learning, advertising and bringing picture and chapter books to life through animated narrations, goofy characterizations, music, songs and movement. In “grown-up” life, she gives lectures and conducts workshops on reading with children, reader’s theater and children’s literacy and serves on the Boards of WBON, Children's Literacy Foundation, Lake Champlain International, Parkinson's Comfort Project and the Miss Vermont Scholarship Organization.
