We're beginning an exciting new FREE Film Noir series this Thursday evening, 2/16/23, 7 PM - 9 PM, at Wallingford Town Hall. These films are all about guys and gals that never get a break, but they don't give up! There's always a new caper to solve!
Our first feature in this series will be the 1950 film, "D.O.A.," starring Edmond O'Brien. As it says on the movie's film poster, "A Picture as Excitingly Different as its Title!"
If you're unfamiliar with this movie genre, "...film noir is a cinematic term used primarily to describe stylish Hollywood crime dramas, particularly those that emphasize cynical attitudes and motivations ." So says Wikipedia!
All for FREE with insightful commentary that will welcome audience participation. Please remember to bring a comfy cushion for our humble metal folding chairs.
