The Montpelier-Roxbury Board of School Directors meets this Wednesday, February 15th, 6:30 p.m. @ Montpelier High School. The meeting will be held in the MHS library or you can participate virtually via Zoom.

Board meetings always begin with a public comment opportunity at 6:30 p.m.; public comments can be made whether you attend in-person or virtually.

The MRPS Board will take up the following at this week's meeting:

-Opportunity to approve 5 new/updated policies:
A20: Board Meetings, Agenda Preparation & Distribution
A21: Public Participation at Board Meetings
A22: Notice of Non-Discrimination
A23: Community Engagement and Vision
A24: Board/Superintendent Relations

-MRPS Winter data presentation looking at academics, behavior, and chronic absenteeism across all 4 schools. MRPS leadership has been working hard to create systems for data collection across these areas to effectively inform the delivery of education in the district. This is critical work to support the board in its quest to ensure all students get what they need to be successful at school.

-Policy monitoring report for D15: Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act Compliance

-Reading of draft policy D22: Selecting Library Materials

-Executive Session to discuss status of contract negotiations
