Board games are more than Monopoly and Sorry. Try something new at Border Board Games, Vermont's longest running public tabletop gaming group. We will play board games all evening from 5pm to 11:00pm at the Derby Line Village Hall at 104 Main Street in Derby Line, VT. FREE to attend!
Attending a game night is a great way to meet others geeks which could lead to more gaming, like RPGs. We normally host the monthly game night on the 3rd Saturday of each month. Absolute beginners are welcome, all games are taught.
We play a wide variety of strategy-based board games. Examples of games we have played that you may have heard of: Settlers of Catan, Ticket to Ride, Wingspan, and Dominion.
Don't worry if you have never heard of these. Many people haven't! Stop by and give them a try. We teach all the games we play and, a lot of the time, even the experienced players are learning the game too.
Have games to share? Bring them! If you don't, no worries! Just show up and be ready to play and learn. All skill levels are welcome.
Snacks are provided. If you wish, you can bring snacks to contribute to the snack table but it is not necessary to attend. Bring whatever drink(s) you prefer. The village hall has a fridge to keep your drinks cold.
