February 16, 2023 - 5:30pm - 7:00pm
Are you interested in finding out more about the healing and regenerative powers of creative writing? Are you an educator, social service or mental health professional interested in incorporating creative writing into your work? Do you love the dramatic arts? Or are you just plain curious about the rich and important field of what is now being called "Creative Health"?
We hope you will join us for this free hybrid participatory event, presented by Carol Adinolfi, facilitator of The Voices of St. Joseph's Orphanage Writers' Group and its members. A short presentation about the neuroscience of creative writing will be followed by rehearsal clips and short excerpts of our recent theatrical performance, "The Buffer and Other Acts of Quiet Defiance", discussion and a Q and A with the writers.
Funded in part by the Vermont Humanities and the Vermont Community Foundation.
This is a Hybrid Event, please register with Barbara Shatara at bshatara@burlingtonvt.gov to reserve a place in person or to receive a zoom link.
