Join Us to Urge the Warren Select Board to strengthen Cell Tower Rules
The Verizon Cell Tower proposal on Airport Road appears to be dead . . . but we still need to ensure the town of Warren is in the best position possible to review and have input on future cell tower projects.
We do not oppose expanded cell coverage in the valley but rather want to ensure that the Town of Warren has the tools available to ensure that any new cell towers serve the needs of the community and are sited and built in as responsible and unobtrusive a manner as possible.
To this end, please join us in asking the Warren Select Board to include important protections on height, location, setbacks, etc. in the town's new Land Use and Development Regulations (LUDRs). The protections we recommend are in line with many other Vermont towns including Waitsfield.
Warren residents, homeowners, and voters can support this effort by signing this new petition (not the same as the old petition opposing the Verizon tower) urging the Select Board to revise the LUDRs: https://bit.ly/3YFaGWy
Further, please consider attending the February 14 at 6:30 pm meeting in person at the Warren Town Hall or online to request the Select Board make these important changes. Zoom link is here: https://bit.ly/3lseLzd Meeting ID: 858 5474 2502; Passcode: 953369.
Thanks for considering!
