Help Ukraine Fundraiser
I would like to invite you to participate in an experience of Ukrainian culture while participating in a fundraiser for the people of Ukraine. My name is Sarah Horton and I was raised learning about my Ukrainian heritage through decorating eggs (pysanky) with wax and dyes. I would love to teach you! This year I will have 3 students from last year's classes helping out and teaching as well. If you are attending again this year, there are new egg designs for you! I am also supporting my sister and a cousin who wrote a story book about making pysanky (Sopie and her Sisters Decorate Eggs) to get funds for St Jude Global. Their book is available on Etsy and I will have some copies of the book on the days of the events.
Here are the opportunities:
Event #1: Saturday, March 25th 2:00pm to 5:00pm at The Round Hearth, 39 Edison Hill Road, Stowe. You will be making 2 decorated eggs - several choices this year due to extra teachers and styles.
Light refreshments will be served.
Event #2: Saturday, April 1st 2:00pm to 5:00pm at Butler's Pantry, 128 Main Street, Stowe.
Laura Biron (Ukrainian heritage) will be teaching as well.

Signup Process:
1. Send me an email at shorton117@gmail.com with your name, event date you plan to attend, and your most commonly used phone number.
2. I will send you both a confirmation email that you are in the class and then a reminder a few days before the event via email.
3. On the day of the workshop , bring a $50 check payable to : St Jude Global Safer Ukraine ( Medical help for children with cancer ) OR United Help Ukraine (Medical supplies of all types)
I will be mailing all the collected checks on the day of each fundraiser after the event is done.
If you want to donate and are not planning to attend, you may also mail a check to me at PO Box 1296 Stowe, VT 05672. I will include yours with the event participants.
