Come join us for our "Fat Tuesday" celebration hosted by St. Francis of Assisi Church. Music is provided by the East Bay Jazz Quintet under the direction of Gerry Grimo. Traditional, as well as some novel, New Orleans Jazz selections, befitting Mardi Gras pageantry, will surely lift your spirits these last days before the Lenten season.
The festivities include a King Cake competition. There are no fixed rules. Simply bake and decorate your best version of a New Orleans Mardi Gras King Cake. Want to enter your cake or need more detail, please email joyce.k.corbin@gmail.com
Bring your masks, beads, sparkly headdress if you wish or just wear something in the Carnival colors of purple, green and gold. We hope you will join us for what promises to be a great time.
