Dr. King and the Beloved Community, a Presentation by Vernita Weller

Rev. Dr. King preached a message of non-violence, desegregation, integration, and the emergence of the Beloved Community, but what is often left out is the foundation of King's Beloved Community and Agape Love. King's spiritual and religious belief system was rooted in the Gospel and this was a theology from which he did not waver. We shall briefly examine his life, mission, and the ultimate goal for a healthy community rooted in the love of God.

When: Saturday, February 18th; 5-7:30pm

Where: Jericho Congregational Church, Fellowship Hall

Food: Soup, Salad, and Pasta (each person chooses one covered dish to bring)
