Imagine you have the POWER to engage your community in anti-racism work. YOU DO!
In celebration of Black History Month, and to encourage continued learning on our shared anti-bias/anti-racism journey, the Richmond Racial Equity Education Committee invites you to a book/media round table discussion. If you have read or viewed something transformational in the past few years, come and spread the word!
Join with your neighbors on Wednesday, February 15th at 7:00 PM at the Richmond Free Library. Come prepared to say a few words, or just come to listen. What book moved you to think differently? What podcast or film blew you away? What kids' media has fostered anti-racism conversations in your home? This will be a casual, fun evening to chat, snack and share our collected, ongoing learning. We hope to see you there!
