The Dorset Historical Society's Third-Thursday Lunch-Lecture on February 16 will feature Alexandra Langstaff, who will discuss and read from Virtuous Sinner: A Memoir Made in Vermont.
Alexandra Smith Langstaff has spent more than half of her life driving up and down Danby Mountain Road. She's delighted to share content development (how and why she finds things funny), her writing habits, and the steps she takes to be a published author.
After she reads a bit, she would love to chat with anyone who wants to discuss the challenging practice it takes, to be insightful, slightly irreverent yet compassionate human beings!
DHS's TTLLs begin at noon and last about an hour. Attendees are invited to bring some lunch; desserts and drinks will be provided. The event is free, open to all and handicapped accessible.
The Dorset Historical Society's Bley House Museum is located on Route 30 at Kent Hill Road. For more information, see https://dorsetvthistory.org or call (802) 867-0331.
