Coming up Thursday on Central Vermont Community Radio: A debate about biofuels is dividing the environmental community in Vermont. And a long-time local doctor talks about the state of Covid now, and how and where you can get additional protection against the virus many seem determined to forget.
9:00 - 10:00 am
Last week, Rebecca Dalgin of People for Climate Action VT expressed concern about biofuels provisions in the Affordable Heat Act that the Vermont legislature is now debating. This week, Johanna Miller of the Vermont Natural Resources Council—and a member of the Vermont Climate Council—will explain why other environmental organizations are behind the Affordable Heat Act, and how it's structured to ensure that biofuels it promotes are increasingly green and decreasingly used.

Is Covid over? You might think so, with the White House announcing the end of the national state of emergency in May. But there are still plenty of reasons to get a booster shot, and The Health Center in Plainfield is offering a series of clinics on Saturdays for those who still want a shot. We'll talk with The Health Center CEO and medical director Dr. John Matthew about what they're seeing in the way of Covid, flu, and RSV cases; why booster shots are still important; what you can safely do if you are fully boosted, and more.
