If you would like to build confidence, overcome shyness, change your relationship to public speaking, and become a strong leader -- all while having fun and meeting new people in a friendly environment -- Savvy Speakers Toastmasters Club of Barre, Vermont is the place for you. Toastmasters provides a mutually supportive and positive learning environment, with many opportunities to practice and receive individualized feedback on the skills and techniques of effective communication and leadership.
Our membership are at all stages of life -- from presenting and networking at first jobs to starting new stories in retirement -- but are united by their dedication to growing and helping others to grow.
Savvy Speakers meets twice a month, on the first and third Tuesdays of the month, from 6:00 - 7:30 pm ET. Meetings on first Tuesdays are online only, while meetings on third Tuesdays are hybrid, with an in-person option in downtown Barre. Upcoming meetings are:
