Calling all community members interested in recreation in Stowe! Nick and I have been following and have engaged with the Rec Commission about a very exciting opportunity for our town that we would like to invite more people to take interest in.

Last town meeting the voters of Stowe approved monies to hire a consultant to look at Memorial Park and formulate a plan for needed repairs and upgrades as well as a new rec building. Memorial Park is 14 acres in town that encompasses the playground, rec building, tennis and basketball courts, Stowe arena, baseball/soccer fields and Parks & Recreation garages. Memorial Park is at the heart of our town and should reflect our commitment to community and healthy recreation.

At this meeting the rec commission will finalize materials that will be presented for approval by the Stowe Select board at their upcoming meeting on February 13th. Please come and join to show support and get involved in shaping the future of Memorial Park!
