Intro to Book Arts: Making Handmade Books with Carolyn Mecklosky

Create an Accordion book with a cover (blank pages) and a Maze book with color exploration (illustrated pages). Instruction, paper for the books, cardboard for covers, glue, and ribbons will be provided. Good things to bring to the workshop: your favorite markers, colored pencils, and/or watercolors. Also if you have some pieces of cotton/cotton blend cloth for the covers—2 pieces 7 in. X 9 in. would be welcome. The library will have some markers, pencil and cloth on hand. This workshop is recommended for 9 year olds and up. All are welcome. $3 donation is appreciated.
